Below is a list of recent athletes that he has coached over the last 10 years:

2026

Girls 300m hurdle league champion and 3rd place finisher in her division at the State meet from Stayton HS. She also qualified for State in the 100m hurdles. I only worked with her one year because she was a senior.

Boys 300m hurdle league champion from Blanchet Catholic HS. This was only his second year to run the hurdles and my first year to work with him. As a sophomore he finished the season ranked 3rd in State in the 110m hurdles and 6th in the 300's in his division.

Two other boys from Blanchet Catholic HS finished the season ranked 8th, and 9th in State in their division in the 110m hurdles, and one also ranked 8th in the 300m hurdles.

Girls 100m hurdle league champion from West Salem HS and ranked 9th in State at the 6A level as a sophomore.

2025

Boys 300m hurdle league champion and 5th place finisher at the State meet from Blanchet Catholic HS. He was a senior and this was his first year to run the hurdles.

A second boy from Blanchet was also a State qualifier in the 110m hurdles, placing second at the league meet. This was his first year to run hurdles as well.

A girl from Jefferson HS qualified for State in both hurdle events by taking second place in league in both events as a freshman.

2024

Girls 100m hurdles 5th place finisher at the State meet in her division from Blanchet Catholic HS. This was her first year to run the hurdles.

A second girl from Blanchet also qualified for the State meet as well in the 100m hurdles.

Girls 100m hurdle 2nd place finisher at the middle school "Meet of Champions" state meet from Jefferson Middle School. (Same girl mentioned above as a freshman). She went from 18.1 seconds and placing 39th at the State Meet as a 7th grader, to 16.1 and 2nd place as an 8th grader after working with her for several months.

2023

Boys 3rd and 5th place finisher in his division at the State meet in both hurdle events from Blanchet Catholic HS. He was a senior and this was his first year to run the hurdles.

Girls 100m hurdle district champion, also from Blanchet Catholic HS. She placed 4th and 5th in both hurdle events at the State meet in her division. This was her first year to run the hurdles. Unfortunately she was an exchange student and had to return to her country that summer.

A second girl from Blanchet also qualified for the State meet in the 100m hurdles.

2022

Girls 4th and 5th place finisher at the State meet in both hurdle events from Scio HS. She was a senior sprinter with no hurdle experience. I taught her how to hurdle 2 weeks prior to the district meet.

2021

Girls 300m hurdle district champion, also from Scio HS. She placed 3rd and 4th place at the State meet in both hurdles. I only worked with her one year because she was a senior.

2018

Boys 300m hurdle district champion and State qualifier from Sprague HS. I only worked with him one year because he was a senior.

2017

JV boys 110m hurdle district champion from South Salem HS as a Freshman. (He also led the league in the 300m hurdles by almost three seconds but then got hurt the week before league finals and only ran the 110m hurdles at Finals).

2016

Boys 300m hurdle district champion and State qualifier from South Salem HS. I only worked with him one year because he was a senior.

Notice that with almost every athlete above I was only able to work with them for ONE year, and many had NO previous hurdle experience. Imagine what I can do with an athlete who I'm able to coach for multiple years!!
